A transparent and open competition is held to identify the qualifications, knowledge and outlook of each candidate who apply for a job with the Financial Monitoring Service under the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The competition consists of a test exam and an interview.

General requirements for the candidates applying for a job with the Financial Monitoring Service under the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan are mentioned below:

• Citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
• Higher education (except for the vacancies not requiring higher education)
• Knowledge of national legislation in the field of combating the legalization of criminally obtained funds or other property and financing of terrorism;
• General knowledge of international standards and requirements in the field of combating the legalization of criminally obtained funds or other property and financing of terrorism;
• Foreign language skills (the requirement for speaking foreign languages is higher for the candidates who apply for a position within International cooperation department);
• Computer skills;
• Skills of working with documentation;
• Analytical thinking skills;

The additional skills required are teamwork, proper planning of the work and timely implementation of the tasks, problem solving, being innovative and initiative, and ability to work under time pressure.

Note: The preference is given to the candidates who applied for the position within the Financial Monitoring Service under the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan who served in the army or have military obligation and have previous work record in the relevant field.
